I love coffee. I know I have told you all that many many times and you will probably hear me say it more times. I just really love it and I love coming up with new creative coffee drinks. I love keto hot chocolate bombs and I love keto coffee bombs so what better idea then to combine the two.

What is a Mocha Coffee Bomb?
Mocha coffee bomb is a combination of a coffee bomb and a chocolate bomb. Using sugar free chocolate to make the shell and instant coffee to make the coffee filling these are super easy to make.
How to Use Keto Mocha Coffee Bombs
To use the mocha bombs, place them in a mug and pour 1 cup hot water over the top. Stir until the mocha bombs are completely melted and enjoy!
What Mold is best for making Mocha Coffee Bombs?
It is easiest to make hot chocolate using silicone half sphere molds however they are extremely hard to find right now both online and in store but there are other options. You can use metal sphere molds, bath bomb molds or cake pop molds.
Tips for making keto mocha coffee bombs
I have included a video on how to make keto mocha coffee bombs in this post as well, so you can see it visually to help you with making them.
Make sure the chocolate is melted thoroughly. You want to make sure the chocolate is smoothly melted before you use it in the chocolate molds. You can microwave per the directions on the package or melt the chocolate with a double boiler.
Allow chocolate to harden fully. While you might be impatient like myself, when you are placing the chocolate in the freezer to harden back up it is important. You need to let it fully harden or you will have issues removing it from the molds, and you will have issues with the chocolate bombs falling apart.
Use a quality Instant Coffee. You want to have flavor and good coffee means good flavor.
Keto Mocha Coffee Bombs Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar-Free Keto-Friendly Chocolate Chips
- 6 tablespoons Instant Coffee
How to Make Keto Mocha Coffee Bombs
Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt in 30-second increments, stirring between each increment, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Place 1 tablespoon melted chocolate into one half-sphere mold and, using the bottom of your spoon, press the chocolate up the sides of the mold, keeping it thick but even. Repeat with 12 bomb mold halves.
Place the chocolate filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes.
Remove molds from the freezer and gently peel the silicone away from the chocolate cup.
Fill 6 of the chocolate cups with 1 tablespoon Instant Coffee.
Heat a plate or a flat-bottom bowl in the microwave until the surface of the plate is warm to the touch.
Press one of the empty chocolate cups open-side-down onto the flat portion of the warm plate for about 10 seconds. This will gently melt the rim of the chocolate cup.
Immediately press this warmed edge chocolate cup to the top of one of the filled cups. This will join the two halves of the bomb. If desired, add more of the chocolate melts to help shore-up that joint.
Place the mocha bombs into the freezer for 5 minutes to get them to set, then remove and store in an airtight container until you’re ready to use.

Ingredients
